Overview
My research focuses on the evolution of protoplanetary disks. I am currently assisting in the development of Fabry-Perot Interferometers which will be employed on NASA's SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy) instrument named HIRMES (High-Resolution Mid-Infrared Spectrometer). HIRMES will tell us a great deal about the dynamics and chemical composition of protoplanetary disks early in the planet formation process.
